New words

Flower and gentle. She tries to hit us or the dog and we say gentle and she goes back and softly rubs it and says gentle. Also, bath is known as a "B".

Getting ready to transition

So we talked with her teacher today and Izzy is set to start her transition to the big girl class at the end of this month when she turns 17 months. She is on track with a lot of things and the bottles will be put away tonight (only sippy cups for a little while in her big girl class and mostly open cups which we can do, but they are still so much fun to watch tip over). We also talked about potty training and she is on track for that too. She told us she will need at least 5-6 panties a day. Yes, Izzy will need panties. Ahh, growing up too quick!!!

Izzy and the flu

Izzy and I spent last weekend with the flu. Yuck! (Look at that sicky girl and yes that's her asleep in the living room).

Izzy had her first corn on the cob today. So cute! She even held it right. (And no she didn't eat that. She was just gnawing on it).
