14 Weeks

Thought it would be fun to compare the girls at 14 weeks.

Disneyland

We have promised Izzy a Disneyland trip for her 4th birthday for about 2 years now. My dream is to stay at the fancy hotel, eat with all the characters, do all the rides, and buy her lots of things. That dream will cost me about $1700 not including souvenirs. So I have decided until my kids are old enough, the dream is on the back-burner. Instead, Paul and I will take just Izzy to Disneyland, leave Rees with my parents, and give her the best day of her life. Then we will happily go back to Hotel Schlueter where the food is great and beds are soft. Someday we can do a big family trip, but this time, it'll be just the three of us and I can't wait to go.

Time to Stop and Remember

Life is so busy. I find that I am speeding through my days and if I don't stop and try to store these memories they will run away.

Rees is almost 14 weeks old and such a love bug. She is beginning to hold rattles or help with her bottle, she immediately pops her head up and turns side to side when she is on her belly, and she blows us away with her leg strength. She wants to stand. I constantly say that this baby never read her manual. She is making up her own rules and when she will do things. She also is a talker. She yaps about all kinds of things and the sounds are just edible. You could eat her up because the sound is so beautiful.

Izzy is our bowl full of energy. She is a happy kid who just wants to be with "her kids" (friends). She is going to start dance classes on Monday and is going to the Circus on Sunday. She also has a very busy weekend with two birthday parties. No rest for us this weekend. I can't wait to see her practicing her dance moves around the house. Too bad I won't see any of the classes since they are during the work week.
