While we were in Orange County my friend Amanda gave us a movie, Shrek the Halls. We were gracious with our thanks knowing that Izzy doesn't watch tv. Paul and I were holding out no hope that she would actually watch it, but to our surprise, throw some animals in and lo and behold, we suddenly watch tv. She throws her pillow right in front of the tv and lays down to watch the movie. Her new favorite word is "Donkey". Can you just see her saying that? When the music plays she gets up to dance. It is a nice 30 minute respite. Who would have thought it? Maybe it is one of those experienced mommy things. She just knew my kid would like it.
