After many weeks of waiting, Rees Lily Claussen made her debut on May 25th, 2010. She is beautiful, healthy and a spittin' image of her sister. My water broke on May 24th at 6:15pm and she arrived at 3:44am on May 25th after 3 rounds of pushing. My epidural was placed much better than Izzy's so I was really comfortable for the majority of this and am feeling fairly good if I don't wait between pain medication doses. We were able to sleep a good amount last night which is worth more than money for a new family. She is very quiet and content so hopefully all of those months of back pain (which by the way, I am able to finally able to lay on my back without pain since October 2009), nausea, and just the uncomfortableness of being pregnant are gone. We get to go home today. Izzy has been so cute when Auntie Lynn, who has been amazing through this with taking care of Izzy, brings her by. She keeps asking if we can take "Rees home" and keeps coming up to my belly and pushing on it and telling me there is no baby in there. She even gets the Boppy pillow down and sits down very nicely with her. Although she did one time try to take her right out of Auntie Lynn's arms because she was ready to hold her, Little Mommy already.
