Friends from Texas

We had a great visit, but too short with our friends The Burton's who live in Texas. We love seeing them because we have such great conversations and the kids have fun playing. It is unfortunate that I wasn't feeling better that week, so we didn't get to see them as much as we wanted, plus we had my Grandparents in town as well. What a busy week.

We hope to maybe get to Texas next summer (that's our goal) to see all of the Burton's.

Zoo

Paul had a day off last week, so I sent him and Izzy to the zoo. They are such "zoo people". They love animals in a way that could bore others. I mean when your favorite part of the zoo is the Reptile House. Yes, the three old too. No thanks I will rest. We did learn not to go on school day when 9,000 little kids are there, but the good part was we got free passes from a neighbor so it wasn't for loss.

38 Weeks 5 Days

After a short visit to the hospital last week and a long visit with Mi-Ma we are still anxiously waiting her arrival. She is stubborn already and dramatic. I finally had the realization today that maybe she isn't ready, health-wise. God wants a big, fat baby. No dinky babies here. Or maybe she will need some medical assistance to get moving. So I push through each day trying to continue life, enjoy one-on-one time with Izzy and rest/sleep time. It is hard because I am so ready to hold her and compare her to Izzy and kiss her. Oh, and have Izzy meet her. Soon, very soon.
