Life with an 8 month old and a soon to be 4 year old

Rees- What can I say about this kid, she is amazing! She is a parent's dream. She is so happy and loving. My favorite part about her right now is her "Me!Me!Me!" attitude. She wants everyone to know she is in the room. She is a talker and has quite the voice. We never experienced this with Izzy or the giggles, smiles, and pure joy she is constantly sharing with us. I have never met a happier baby. I also never thought I would have a kid that just laughs. She has such a sense of humor. She loves to be tickled and loves her sister. Izzy can walk into the room and Rees will immediately swing her head around and wait with the biggest eyes in anticipation of her sister acknowledging her and when she does, you can just feel her excitement. Rees learned how to sit up from a laying down position and we are beginning to really like to stand. She also can get into a crawling position but doesn't go anywhere. I think she is on her sisters milestone path. Izzy crawled at 10 months and walked at 12 months. She is quite an eater. She doesn't have too much that she doesn't like. Rees is also a long kid. She is already wearing 18 month clothes especially in jammies. She is definitely bigger than Sister at this point. She is still waking up once maybe every few nights. Those nights she sleeps through the night or wakes up after I wake up is a DREAM! Otherwise, Reesie, as we like to call her is a happy, thriving, growing, lovable, loud child.

Isabella- Is my funny yet serious kid. Just today she learned to stick out her tongue to get her point across. Personally, I know it is a bad thing, but I was dying laughing inside. She is showing such independence. She communicates the funniest ideas and has so much to say. She asks all kinds of questions and sometimes it can be exhausting to hear the "Mommy.....". She is learning to ride a scooter yet still asks for a pogo stick. She is demanding with her love and with her attention. She wants to show us and play with everything. She has so many thoughts and ideas that sometimes we can't keep up with her, which can frustrate her. She CANNOT wait to go to kindergarten. She is so excited to have a teacher and pack up her lunch in a lunchbox. She also calls any friends or even kids that her age, her children. She will say "My children..." I can't wait for her to go to preschool. Hopefully, we can start in August.
