6 Weeks Old
Rees is six weeks old and such a good baby. She is beginning to smile and is very patient with our very busy life. With the tragic loss of my best friend, Lindsay it has been a very interesting week 4 and week 5 in her life. She is very adaptable and is a good traveler. She loves to be held and is taking a bottle really well. She is almost fully holding her head up and turns 180 degrees. She also wants to roll and may happen in the next few weeks. Rees loves baths. She is so quiet and likes the feeling of the water on her body. She sleeps almost through the night, which is great but challenging for mommy. She has been able to meet lots of family which wouldn't have happened so soon had we not had to go to Orange County. I find that time a BLESSING! I was able to spend some quality time learning who Rees really is without the added pressure of my lovely three year old. Balancing two kids is challenging and the baby needs time to be held, loved, and learned and I got that in the two and a half weeks I was gone. I think she is a keeper. We look forward to the next six weeks and beyond. What fun she will be!
