Update

Have I told you lately how much I love Izzy's school? They are the best. They are fully committed to getting Izzy potty trained and have even told us "No more diapers. Only underwear". So we are trying. Monday nothing at school. Tuesday nothing at school. Wednesday 2 pee-pees and yes a poo! Whoo-hoo Izzy! And she even pee-peed three times and pooed once here at home tonight. She always claps when she is finished and says, "Just like Sydney". I am just still in awe that she is beginning to get it. My only problem now is that she is still developmentally not ready to pull clothes up and down, so we have to help her. But, otherwise "Pee-pee in the potty" (a song I made up) is our new motto for Izzy.

Full Steam Ahead

We are going full go on the potty training. I have been working with her over this break with no luck. Then we got back from our mini-vacation and tried again and I tried to reminder her of everyone that goes potty and I said, "Sydney uses the potty" (her cousin). This may have been the trigger. She looks up to her so much. So now she goes in the potty and says, "Like Sydney?" School is on the same track as us and we start tomorrow potty training at school. She can pee when she wants, she is just now holding it. So we are getting close.
