Days Go By So Quick

We just can't slow down the days we have with these girls. We are rushing to school, home from school, then trying to cram in dinner, clean up, outside time, homework, and anything else that needs to be done.

We have added two new chickens to our family. Izzy is impressive with them. She changes the water, picks them up gently which is hard when you have a squeaking chick that is trying to get away, picks up their poop, and is an overall good Mama Chick.

Rees is our constant tester. Today she lived up to her Bipolar Betty nickname by throwing herself on the floor, screaming, kicking you name it she did it. This was over her new phrase of No when she really means Yes. When you ask her "Do you want help?" She says "No" but she really means "Yes" but doesn't want your help till you walk away.

Izzy has begun to copy sentences out of books. She calls it her letter writing time. Paul and I love it. She even asks to stay up late so she can write her pages. Luckily, Rees doesn't mind and only wants to hear the music.

The time change has really helped. We are able to spend more time outside, if we can stand the awful mosquitoes. Not sure why we are having such a problem right now but you have to spray in order to go out.

Izzy's last basketball game is this Saturday. She has done pretty good. She is definitely a daisy picker and basketball may not be here thing, but she sure is trying something new and I commend her for that. We will start horseback riding lessons soon and hopefully some swim lessons for summer.

The girls did really well for Paul when I took my first Mommy Vacation since the girls were born without a girl with me. It was fun. I missed them, but I sure liked not having the responsibility except for myself.
