Our 4 year old

Well, we have hit a milestone... we have turned 4 years old. Time flies by. She is just great and really we both couldn't think of what life would be like without her. She is happy, friendly, energetic, smart, loving, and crazy. She is passionate and thoughtful.

Since she was young we have always talked about big gifts for her birthday. For her three year old gift, we bought her a fish and fish tank. For her 4 year old present, we wanted to take her to Disneyland and that is just what we did.

We spent a day at "The Happiest Place on Earth" and it sure was. We got to experience what Disneyland is truly made for, a kid. She saw things and wanted to do things that Paul and I would have overlooked. We went on the Pinocchio, Snow White, Dumbo, Tea Cups, Roger Rabbit, Autopia, Disneyland Railroad, Pirates of the Carribean, Haunted Mansion, Tarzan's Treehouse, and Jungle Criuse. We ate some yummy food and did a little shopping, too. Then we went over to California Adventures and peeked around, but we were just too tired to do anything more than have an ice cream cone. We are itching to get back there and for a longer stay. So hopefully this summer we can get some more time, milling around with princesses and pirates.

(P.S. I want to publicly thank my mother and father for watching Rees and to my wonderful cousin, Courtney who has such a great job at Disney).

Izzyism #3

Rees was fussy in her car seat on the way back from the doctors this afternoon and Izzy looked at her and said, "Why are you fussy.... (pause)... you didn't get any shots!" This kid is hilarious. She has such comedic timing.
