Trip of a Lifetime

We have the absolute best friends in Texas. Who can spend a week at someone's house and not get tired of them. Where you are just content just sitting on the couch and hanging out. Thankfully we didn't just sit around we toured North Texas and even jumped over to Oklahoma.
We saw:
  1. Cowboy Stadium
  2. Perot Museum
  3. 1st Annual Family Bowl-off
  4. Dallas World Aquarium
  5. 3 trips to Cracker-Barrel
  6. Oklahoma City Science Museum
  7. OSU
  8. Movie Theater trip
  9. BBQ with the whole family
  10. Yummy Pizza Night
  11. Many swimming days. It is hot in Texas.
Here are just a few of my "lost" camera pictures. We can't wait to get back on that plane to see them again or as we play around with the idea of meeting half-way. Can't wait!!!

A Child's Dream- A Stomping Walk

One of my favorite memories as a child was stomping through the gutter water on my walk home from school one day as it was pouring rain. There was no hope I was going to be soaked so I threw off my backpack and "floated" down the water in the gutter. Okay, I know it is gross, but it was so much fun (Sorry Dad if you are reading this). So I try every chance I can to get my girls out there and just go crazy in the puddles. Then we come home get nice and warm by the fire and laugh. That is what childhood should be about!

Just a quick hike and dip

We stumbled upon a nice watering hole at the South Yuba River this summer. I have grand hopes that the girls would be better hikers, but we are just not there so we cut our hike short to save our family and decided to let the girls put their feet in the water. We finished with a nice car picnic and ride home through the mountains on east Highway 20.

4th Annual Twin Peaks Family Peach Picking

One of the few things we look forward to each year. This year our peach picking family trip to Twin Peaks in Newcastle, CA got bigger and boy was it at awesome to have everyone who came there.
